Players take turns drawing cards until someone picks an exploding kitten and loses. The deck includes cards that allow you to avoid explosions by peeking at cards before drawing, forcing opponents to draw multiple cards, or shuffling the deck.
The game becomes increasingly intense with each card drawn, as fewer cards in the deck heighten the risk of drawing the kitten and exploding in a dramatic feline disaster.
